What happened to the Indian Ceremony and Sangeet?

Answer

Due to the passing of Akshay's grandfather, we unfortunately needed to cancel all Indian wedding celebrations originally scheduled for Friday, August 21st. In accordance with Hindu traditions, wedding ceremonies and related celebrations are not held for one year following the passing of the head of the family. While we are saddened by this change, we still look forward to celebrating with everyone at our American Ceremony and Reception on Saturday, August 22nd.

What is the dress code?

We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to celebrate with us! For the American Ceremony and Reception, black-tie attire is requested. Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel great!

Are there any colors guests should avoid?

For the American Ceremony and Reception, please avoid wearing white.
