We are so excited to welcome you to El Salvador — a country that holds so much meaning for us, and one we can’t wait for you to experience for yourself. 🇸🇻
Land of Volcanoes & Coastlines Known as the “Land of Volcanoes,” El Salvador is filled with lush mountains, crater lakes, and over 20 volcanoes—many of which can be hiked for stunning views. Its Pacific coast is famous for surfing, sunsets, and charming beach towns like El Zonte and El Tunco.
Pupusas! These handmade corn tortillas filled with cheese, beans, or meat are a national treasure. But there’s so much more — Salvadoran cuisine is flavorful, comforting, and made with love. Don't worry- they will be served late night at our reception. It is a must to try.
From traditional folk dances to modern reggaetón, cumbia, and bachata, music is a heartbeat of Salvadoran life. Make sure to give yourself a bachata dancing lesson before you come, you will need it on the dancefloor! You may also notice the country’s growing art and design scene, especially in cities like San Salvador, where murals and galleries speak to both history and modern creativity.
What we love most: What makes El Salvador truly special isn’t just the scenery or the food — it’s the people. Hardworking, resilient, joyful, and full of pride for their culture and country. We’re honored to share this place with you and hope you fall in love with it just as we have.
Traveling Tips: -US dollars are accepted everywhere. -Spanish is the official language, but many people speak some English in tourist areas. -El Salvador is very warm and humid — pack light clothing, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes.
