Question

Is there parking available near your wedding venue(s)?

Answer

Yes! There is a parking lot and street parking at the church and a free large parking lot a the reception venue. The church is currently under construction. Limited parking is available in the parking lot on the south side of the church. If you are able, please car pool with friends and family. We kindly ask that our young, able bodied friends opt for street parking to leave as much space in the parking lot for our older guests. Guests will all enter through the door on the south side of the church from the parking lot. Thank you for your understanding. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What time should I arrive to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive by 12:45 pm at the latest. The ceremony will begin precisely at 1 pm.

What should we do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Check out our "Things to Do" tab! We have put a few fun options. Or feel free to head back to your hotel or AirBnb to rest and relax before a night of partying!

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal We ask that men wear a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown, midi, or knee-length cocktail dress.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will be indoors. There is a patio at the reception venue if you do need to step outside.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, we're on a tight budget and have limited space, so we simply can't afford for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Children are welcome to attend the ceremony, however, the reception will be for adults 21+ only.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We want you to have a great time and let loose, but please drink responsibly. The venue does allow you to leave a vehicle overnight if you're unable to drive home.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 6931 Outlook St, Overland Park, KS. A wedding card box and a table for gifts will be at our reception as well.

What is the timeline for the reception?

Answer

The reception will start with a cocktail hour from 4:30pm - 5:30pm. Dinner will start at 6:00pm, followed by dancing at 8:00pm!

Will there be a coat check at the reception?

Answer

Yes! There will be a coat check and an attendant at the Oliver Building at the main entrance on the first floor.
