In early 2023, Jett discovered Lauren's Instagram profile and sent her a direct message. Although Lauren found him very cute, she was a little skeptical, considering he was a Texas Tech football player. After a few days of consideration, Lauren decided to respond, and they had their first date shortly after at their favorite spot, J's Creamery. Jett quickly won her over. 
 Early into dating, they learned they had many mutual friends. One of whom was Lauren's sorority sister, who Jett attended multiple date parties with as friends. They often laugh about God's timing, reflecting on the many times they were in the same room yet didn't meet until years later. As their relationship developed, so did their shared interests. Some of their favorite activities include traveling, golfing, attending concerts & Tech football games, exercising, going to the lake, and enjoying sweet treats together. After a year and a half full of memories made together, Jett proposed to Lauren on her 25th birthday during a trip to Cabo San Lucas in December 2024. It was the sweetest surprise and a birthday she’ll never forget! 
 They’re incredibly grateful that the Lord brought them together and can’t wait to celebrate their joyful wedding day surrounded by the people they love most!
