We first met at the UWI UCCF (Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship ) in 2016 when Omar was in his first year of University and Jesutofunmi was in her final year of Undergraduate studies. We then served on same Executive Body for UCCF in 2017. THE CALCULATOR- That year Jesutofunmi lent Omar a Calculator to help with his exams. THE CALCULATOR was returned a year later with a Cadbury Chocolate to express his gratitude. Because of THE CALCULATOR we both stored each other's numbers. In June of 2019 Jesutofunmi posted on her status “I support your growth” to which Omar randomly responded “thank you”. We have spoken every day since then (Literally!). Just as we were getting close, Jesutofunmi left for Antigua (for 3 months) but we both stayed in touch. Omar also travelled and visited Cuba a few months after where internet connection was limited and so conversations between the two were halted to a point. Jesutofunmi seemed to have missed Omar when communication was limited which gave Omar the confidence to.... Express his true feelings for her in Early August 2019. However he was rejected... kinda rejected..... Jesutofunmi devoted herself to prayer for the next 33 days.... should have been 40 (but Omar miscounted).At the end she confessed that she also shared the same feelings. On the day Jesutofunmi returned to Jamaica she saw Omar and less than a month later on November 4, the friendship blossomed into a relationship.
