Lisa and I first met at one of her apartment parties during senior year of college at U of I through our friends, Vivian and Greg. We didnt talk much at the apartment but were partners for some of the beer games. It wasnt until we got to Brothers where we hit it off. Lisa and I clicked right away as soon as we started dancing as we would later find out we love to dance. We all went back to her apartment and Lisa and I talked until like 3am just getting to know each other. Then I left and we didnt talk for about a month or two before our relationship took off.

The proposal took place in Toronto, Canada. This was a very special place for us since this is where we went on our first ever vacation together. It was September 19th and Chuch planned for us to go hiking about an hour outside of the city. We got to the hiking trails and we were informed that all the trails were closed since there was a BMX competition going on. However, that didn’t stop us from sneaking onto a few trails that weren’t being used for the competition. We found a nice spot on top of a large hill and took a little rest. It was at that time Chuch pulled the ring from his backpack and got down on one knee and proposed!
