If you find the time, you must visit Valle de Guadalupe, the Napa Valley of Mexico. Over 70% of Mexico's wine comes from this region. The couple recommends visiting Sol de Media Noche for delicious wine and cheese pairings or Las Nubes. There are over 100 wineries in the area.
If you find the time to explore Tijuana or want to grab a quick bite to eat or drink prior to joining the wedding festivities, it is a must that you stop at Telefonica. You will find numerous food trucks serving local gourmet cuisine along with more exotic food choices. The bride would suggest taking a picture with CHON and sipping her favorite Mexican Mule, a mixture of mezcal, ginger beer, chamoy and tajin. The groom would recommend indulging in a BBQ pulled pork sandwich from Humo and an artisanal beer from the brewery.
If you are feeling more adventurous or enjoy people watching, visit the iconic Rosarito Beach Hotel and playa. You will find an assortment of things to do, ranging from horseback riding to getting your hair braided. The couple have visited and vacationed there with friends and family on numerous occasions. One of the couple’s funniest moments was eating grilled crickets (would totally recommend) on the beach.
