Matron of Honor
Jen and Alex first met during summer volley practice of 8th grade. Alex was new to the school and Jen was typically very shy, but something told Jen to talk to Alex and since then Alex has been more like a sister than a friend. Jen and Alex spent many years watching Hallmark movies and taking late night beach drives, to now shopping, getting lunch, and catching up on life. Jen and Alex have supported each other through major life events like graduating college, getting engaged, married, and Alex having a baby. Despite their busy lives, they maintain regular contact showing their unmatchable bond and support for one another.
Best Man
Eli and Jesus have been friends since Jesus moved to Lafayette over 15 years ago. Their friendship began at the age of 10, bonding over every sport imaginable after school and during the summer. From those early days to their high school graduation, Eli and Jesus have been inseparable, so much so that people often ask where the other is whenever one isn’t around. Their bond is filled with countless stories that could be shared for days, a testament to their enduring friendship.
Maid of Honor
Destiny and Jennifer have been close friends since 12th grade AP English. However, they met 4 years before that on an 8th grade trip to Washington D.C., where Destiny was impressed by Jen's ability to put her contacts in anywhere, anytime; mainly on bus rides. During AP English, Destiny and Jen bonded over their shared love for coffee and Gilmore Girls. Despite going to different colleges and living in different towns, through the years they have grown closer and closer and are always there to listen to and support one another. Jen is so grateful to have a friend as caring as Destiny.
Officiant
Elias, Eli's twin brother, shared in many of the same adventures growing up, with the three of them often playing sports together. Known as the best athlete of the group, Elias brought an extra edge of competitiveness to those endless days of games and fun. In high school, Elias and Jesus both took their athletic pursuits to the wrestling mat, strengthening their bond through the challenges of the sport and the camaraderie they shared both on and off the mat.
Bridesmaid
Having Nicole as Jen’s sister- in-law is one of the greatest gifts. Over the years, Jen and Nicole have bonded over shopping, home decor, and poking fun at Dylan; building a friendship and a sisterhood to last a lifetime. Jen is so excited to have a sister by her side for her big day!
Groomsman
Dylan, Jennifer's brother, and Jesus first met under unforgettable circumstances—Dylan was dressed as Tiger King and Jesus as Peter Griffin. That memorable introduction set the tone for a great friendship. Whether it's discussing a football game together, or just enjoying the moment, Dylan and Jesus have built a strong bond. Dylan’s humor, and laid-back spirit make him an incredible future brother-in-law.
Bridesmaid
Jen and Julia first met when they were slinging sandwiches together at Au Bon Pain while studying at Purdue. They came to discover that not only did they share a major, they shared a middle name as well! Julia Anne and Jennifer Ann, no E. Jen and Julia often joke they are the same person with a shared name and silly personalities, despite some differences. Julia and Jen continue making the time for time each other, whether that is Jen traveling to Ireland to see Julia in college, or Julia traveling back from Germany for Jen's wedding, showing their everlasting friendship.
Groomsman
Jesus and Cole's friendship began, some might say, by destiny. Sharing last names that placed their lockers side by side in middle school, they quickly hit it off and stayed close throughout high school. Their bond only deepened after graduation, fueled by a shared passion for fitness. For over four years, they committed to weekly workouts together, forging an even stronger friendship through their time at the gym and mutual support in reaching their goals.
Groomsman
Joey and Jesus have been friends since middle school, but their bond grew even stronger during high school and beyond. From playing pool every other day at the Purdue Union Hall to shooting guns at Joey's farm—and, of course, plenty of golf—their shared experiences have solidified their friendship. Jesus considers Joey more than just a friend; he sees him as a brother.
Groomsman
Jesus and Alberto were raised more like brothers than cousins. Growing up together in Dallas, TX during their early years, they bonded deeply over their close ages and shared love for professional wrestling. Even after Jesus moved to Indiana, their connection remained strong, staying in close contact despite the distance. Jesus made frequent trips back to Dallas, always prioritizing time to visit Alberto and continue their brotherly bond.
Ring Bearer
Jonah is Jesus' nephew, and if you know Jesus, you know how close they are. Jesus and Jonah lived together from the time Jonah was 2 years old until he was 9. Over the years, Jesus has watched Jonah grow into the smart, thoughtful, and talented young man and athlete he is today.
Flower Girl
Sabrina is Jesus's vibrant nice. Her infectious smile has the magical ability to brighten any room she enters, filling the space with warmth and positivity. We are lucky to have her involved in our special day!
Doggie
Jesus and Jennifer's first dog together, Cub, is a 1-year-old Mini Goldendoodle. He’s a people lover and, if given the chance, would trade them for a jar of peanut butter!
