Our relationship began In the summer of 2016. However, our love story goes back to when we were in 2nd grade. We shared the same 2nd grade teacher and as crazy as it sounds, the crush that Jesus had on Jackie never went away. Keep in mind, I (Jesus) am a stubborn guy. Years later, I asked Jackie to be my girlfriend in 8th grade after our Wednesday church class. I planned to ask in front of everyone so she couldn't refuse. My plan worked. 2 days later, she broke up with me because I didn't have a phone. So, there I am, a devastated 13 year old kid who lost the love of his life, or so I thought. As I said before, I am a stubborn person so I accepted that the battle was lost, but the war wasn't over. Patience is key! Eventually, we became friends. So, I (Jackie) planned to ask Jesus to be in my quinceanera to become closer to him. Little did I know, this was the best decision I had ever made. Aside from stubborn, I (Jesus) am very prideful so I acted uninterested but deep down, I was happy to be a part of her day. A year later, we shared the same driver's ed class and although I (Jesus) was an extremely inexperienced driver, I would steal my brother's truck and offer to give her rides to our class in order to impress her. Eventually, I asked Jackie to be my girlfriend and we became inseparable since. We have been by each other's side through high school, college, and now adulthood. Jackie and I are grateful to have met at such a young age as we have grown as a couple and as individuals. 17 years after our initial encounter, I asked Jackie to be my wife. This next chapter of our lives will be truly special, and we cannot wait to see what the future has in store for us.
