How Far Away Is The Venue From Bangkok?

Answer

The Venue sits just on the outskirts of Bangkok - taking up to one hour to get there by Grab or taxi (with traffic).

Formal (black-tie optional). Mainly - we want you to feel good in whatever you choose to wear.

Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, while the reception will be indoors. Here's to ending the night in some much-anticipated AC.

Travel Requirements to Enter Thailand?

A Visa is not required for short stays (under 60 days), but all foreign travelers must meet the following mandatory conditions: 1. Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC): Complete the electronic arrival card online within 72 hours before arrival. No costs associated. 2. Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry.

December is considered one of the best times to visit Thailand, as it falls in the middle of the cool/dry season. However, be prepared for the occasional unforgiving humidity! Pro Tip: Bring a small portable fan and mosquito repellent, just in case.

Answer

The top 3 recommended modes of transportation around the Bangkok metro area are BTS (sky train), MRT (subway), and Grab (Thailand's "Uber"). Pre-downloading the Grab app before you arrive is the move. Taxis and motorcycle taxis are acceptable, although rates tend to vary (especially for tourists). Tuk Tuks are a MUST for first-timers -- you could call it a rite of passage.
