Why are you having a wedding during the middle of a pandemic?!

Answer

Good question! We have postponed our celebration for over two years and we're over it! We figure it is now or never. If you do not feel comfortable traveling, we completely understand. If it winds up just being the two of us on a beautiful beach sipping champagne together, so be it!

Why Fiji?

Answer

Since nowhere in the world is convenient between New York, Los Angeles, London and Sydney - we thought, why not go on an adventure?! Plus, we've always disliked that weddings go by so fast - you only get a few hours celebrating with your loved ones and then the day is over. This way, we get to celebrate with all of you for several days, you can all really get to know one another, and we can create beautiful memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.

Who else is coming?

Answer

This will be an intimate wedding. We have only invited our nearest and absolute dearest humans. If you're invited, you are either our family or our chosen family, and we love you.

When is the best time to book flights?

Answer

Statistically, the best time to book international flights is 5-6 months before your trip.

Question

When should we book accommodation?

Answer

ASAP! It is the beginning of peak season, so we want to ensure you get first dibs on the accommodation of your choice.

Do we have to stay on Malolo LaiLai Island, or can we stay on one of the other nearby islands?

Answer

You can stay wherever is convenient for you, but as the water taxis can not operate at night (due to the low tides and dangerous reefs), it may make it quite an obstacle for you to easily join in the wedding festivites. Alternatively, you can stay just 1-2 nights with us on Malolo Lailai and then head off on your own adventure!

Question

You're making me fly to an island, do I have to buy you a present as well?

Answer

We don't want or need any presents whatsoever. Your effort to get to Fiji means more to us than we can ever put into words. We would like to ask you to write us a card though. We love cards. We're sentimental like that, and we will read them every year on our anniversary.
