Why does it say LAWNHAVEN at Stroudsmoor?

Okay, you didn't ask this but this is important. There are 6, yes, SIX venues on the Stroudsmoor property as well as accommodations. It is sort of set up like a college campus. So there will be signs to follow for Lawnhaven specifically. It is the first left you can make once on the property. Can I stay on site?

Answer

Yes, please do! We've blocked off a number of rooms at Stroudsmoor that will all be a short walk from the reception. Just call 570-421-6431 Ext 0 and mention the LaPorte/Allman room block. By August 3rd!

Can I stay offsite, and will transportation be provided?

Answer

In addition to the accommodations at the venue, we have another room block at The Penn Stroud Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection, which is a 5 minute drive from the Stroudsmoor. There will not be a shuttle, but you are welcome to leave a car at the wedding venue if need be! More info is located on the Travel page.

Yes, cocktail hour and reception will immediately follow the ceremony.

RSVP cards aren't included with the invitations. Instead, you will RSVP right here on this website. Click on the RSVP tab above (or in the menu if on a mobile device).

Will there be an afterparty?

Yes! Please join us for post-wedding s'mores (and cash bar) at the SCI pavilion just a short walk from the reception. This will be outside, so make sure to bring a jacket and change into comfier clothes if you like!

What do we wear?

Semi-Formal/Cocktail Attire: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. Ceremony will take place outdoors, weather permitting. This will also involve walking through grass for those planning to wear heels.
