Travel Note
We will not be reserving hotel blocks. There are a ton of hotels nearby as well as AirBnBs. We will suggest some boutique hotels we like, as well as the part of town to look. Some hotels are in walking distance, but most are a short Uber/Lyft away. We suggest looking at Blanc on the map and searching for hotels in the area. There is a Hampton Inn, a Hilton, The Curtis, The Maven, a Four Seasons, etc. Choose whatever you'd like!
Flight
You will be flying into DIA (Denver International Airport). Don't let the name fool you. This airport isn't really in Denver. It is about 25 miles from the airport to downtown Denver. You can take the train, rental cars, Uber/Lyft, or Turo to the city!
Train
The A Line Train is in the Denver Airport and goes to and from downtown every 30 minutes. If you do not need your own rental for the weekend, I suggest this option. It's easy and cheap. Follow signs in the airport for the train. You will go outside next to South Security & go down a GIANT escalator. This same train can take you back to the airport. The train signs will show Union Station. Union Station is the last stop downtown. Depending on where you choose to stay, I recommend getting off at the Union Station stop or the 38th and Blake stop. RTD has an app you can download. The link provided will take you to the train schedule. You can access "Fares & Passes". Click "Day Passes", and purchase the "Regional/Airport" pass. Do not activate this pass until you are on the train!
Rental Car
You can reserve a rental car at all of the classic rental car companies. Please note that you will have to take a shuttle from the Denver Airport to the rental car offices. I have linked Turo. It is another app you can download and they offer affordable rental cars if needed! It is like an AirBnB for rental cars.
