We love coming here and have an annual membership. Year-round there is plenty to see here with seasonal and permanent plants and flowers, as well as art installations by Chihuly.
Very lovely and casual hiking trail system that runs adjacent to many creeks. The fall foliage will be very beautiful this time of year. This hiking trail system is well marked and allows you to choose your own adventure, based on the distance you prefer. Parking is $5.
A really interesting museum as well as grounds with several houses and small farms included on the property. It also has only one of two cycloramas in the U.S. depicting the 1864 Battle of Atlanta. Overall, the museum is home to history relating to the Civil War, the Civil Rights Movement, the 1996 Olympics, as well as other major events and periods in history revolving around the city of ATLANTA.
Huge art museum in Midtown. You can spend 3+ hours here and still not cover it all. Very extensive collections spanning centuries through modern art from today.
