The OG local roasters in Nashville. if you're looking for a no frills tasty coffee shop, this is your spot.
One of our favorite spot's for sweet treats and especially for savory pastries. Jessie wants the gruyere prosciutto gruyere croissant to be part of her last meal. They have a second location on the West side of town as well.
Our other favorite bakery in town - especially for their insane breads. Great sadwiches and pastries as well. Worth the trip and the line you might find there!
William has probably eaten here 100 times at this point. Unpretentious Tex Mex with a great patio. If you like spice, ask for the creamy jalapeño sauce.
A go-to spot to grab lunch. Our usual order is a Chicago style beef sandwich to share, a fountain Diet Coke & a canoli.
We went on our second date here. William's favorites are the carne molida and fried avocado tacos. The elote is great too!
Great spot for a gorgeous healthy brunch/lunch. Also has an adorable bar and is in one of our favorite neighborhoods in town.
Jessie's go-to spot for a good hang. There's a wne bar inside the cute boutique hotel, a vibey cocktail bar with a great outdoor garden/picnic area, and Roberta's pizza (from Brooklyn, NY!) - very hotly debated, but one of the best slices in town. Jessie's order is a marg and the hot honey pie
This is where we met and had our first date! It's yummy asian fusion and attached to a great little row of local shops. They have a great brunch, nice patio & yummy desserts. Highly recommend going there with someone you love <3
Jessie's favorite Italian place in town. Must haves include the Negroni (real or phony), ceasar salad (also Jessie's fave in town) and the sweet potato ravioli. Delicious pizza as well if you want a classic NY slice.
Not the hottest take, but you can find us at Jeni's about once a week when Williams in town. Pro tip, get two totally unrelated scoops in a bowl with the waffle cone slice - best of all worlds.
Best brewery in town if you're going for vibes. (The beer is acceptable, but Jessie's fave for the beer is Southern Grist or Bearded Iris.) But you cant beat the atmosphere here - with some indoor/outdoor hang out space & twinkly lights. It's also right in the heart of the 'Neuhoff' area of German town, which is a great new neighborhood to walk around, shop and hang.
If it's your first time in Nasvhille, 12 South is a great neighborhood to walk around, do some shopping, hang in Sevier park, and take some mural pics. Theres lots of spots to stop for food/drink. Skip the long lines at "LaLa Land Cafe', but dont sleep on 'Fryce' fries & ice cream.
Grimey's is one of the coolest vinyl stores in the country. Make a trip out of it, but stopping by Living Waters to grab a coffee or a drink, check out the murals on either side of the building, and buy a record or some vintage clothes from the boutique in the back!
If your littles are in town, The Nashville Zoo is a super nice way to spend some time and is a quick ride from downtown.
Huge park, great for running/hiking/escaping broadway.
