FAQs

The Wedding Website of Jessie Powell and Seth Moore
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests wear formal attire. For ladies, floor-length gowns, long dresses, or elegant midi dresses are welcome. For gentlemen, tuxedos or dark suits with a tie or bow tie are requested. To help keep the evening feeling elevated and special, we kindly ask that you avoid jeans, khakis, and casual wear. We cannot wait to celebrate with you and see everyone dressed to the nines!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those who are formally invited. If you received a plus one, their name will be listed alongside yours on the invitation and will appear when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding—we’re so grateful to celebrate with our closest family and friends!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we’re keeping our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few immediate family children. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a fun and relaxing evening with us!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive 20–30 minutes early to ensure everyone is seated and ready to celebrate together.

Question

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors at McDonough First United Methodist Church. Following the ceremony, the reception will be a short drive—less than 2 miles away—at Sixty on Sims. We look forward to celebrating with you at both beautiful locations!

Question

Is this an indoor or outdoor event?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. However, the cocktail hour will take place outside in the beautiful courtyard at Sixty on Sims, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the fresh air.

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided; however, parking is available onsite at McDonough First United Methodist Church for the ceremony and at Sixty on Sims for the reception. For guests needing extra assistance, handicap parking is available at both venues, and golf cart transportation from the parking area to the venue door will be offered as needed.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by April 15, 2026. This helps us finalize the details and ensures everything runs smoothly on the big day. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Are there any hotel room blocks or recommended accommodations?

Answer

While we don’t have room blocks reserved, we’ve compiled a selection of recommended accommodations for your convenience under the Travel tab on our website. We hope this helps you find the perfect place to stay!

Question

What should I expect for weather?

Answer

While we’re hoping for beautiful weather, Georgia can be unpredictable this time of year. Fortunately, most of the day will be indoors and air-conditioned, so the weather shouldn’t be an issue. If needed, we’ll make any adjustments to ensure everyone stays comfortable and enjoys the celebration.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, we kindly ask guests to drive to Sixty on Sims and join us in the courtyard for cocktail hour. Following cocktails, the reception will begin with dinner and continue with drinks, dancing, and plenty of celebration!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that you please keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony itself. Afterward, feel free to capture plenty of photos during the cocktail hour and reception—we’d love for you to share those special moments with us!
