Is parking provided at the venue?

Yes! There is ample parking at Mount Vernon Canyon Club.

Is the ceremony outside?

Answer

Yes, our ceremony will be outside if the weather permits. September is usually (hopefully!) a beautiful time of year for Colorado weather. Our reception will be indoors.

Are children invited?

Answer

This was a really tough decision for us, but due to budget and space capacity, our wedding will be adults only, except for immediate family. We know this can be difficult, especially for out of town guests, so please let us know if there is any way we can help you.

Yes, our ceremony and reception will be at Mount Vernon Canyon Club.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is somewhere around semi-formal. We want you to be comfortable! Our ceremony will be outdoors, so keep that in mind as well.

What else do I need to know?

Answer

Our wedding will be held in Golden, Colorado, and our venue sits at an elevation of 7600 feet. With the higher elevation, remember to drink a lot of water to avoid altitude sickness! The drive up and down from the venue on I-70 has steep grades, and can be winding. Please drive safe!

What Covid-19 safety precautions will be in place?

Answer

To lower the risk of Covid-19 spread at our wedding, we have moved as much of the event as possible outdoors. Weather permitting, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing will all be outdoors on the deck. Our dinner will be indoors, but we are planning to open up all of the doors to increase air flow. We want everyone to feel comfortable wearing masks during any part of the event, especially indoors.
