Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Parking is available across the street at the Boston Run Trailhead (501 W Streetsboro Rd, Hudson, OH 44236). Important: Do not cross the street on foot. There is a safe path provided. To access it: 1) Head toward the stairs. 2) Follow the stairs down to the tunnel. 3) Walk through the tunnel, which will take you safely under the street and into the venue. You are welcome to drive into the venue parking lot to drop off guests, but we kindly ask that you park at the trailhead to reserve space for vendors. Thank you for your cooperation!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We suggest cocktail attire, which typically includes semi-formal outfits like suits, dressy separates, jumpsuits, or dresses. That said, we want you to feel comfortable and express yourself, so wear what you like! Bright colors, bold patterns, and fun accessories are absolutely welcome. A Few Things to Keep in Mind: 1) The ceremony will take place in a screened-in porch without air conditioning, so lighter, breathable fabrics are a great option. 2) The rest of the venue is air-conditioned, and there will also be access to an outdoor patio, so you may want to plan for varying temperatures. 3) Most importantly, come as you are and dress in whatever makes you feel great! What’s the best way to get there?

Answer

The safety of our loved ones is a top priority, therefore we highly encourage the use of: a designated driver, uber/lyft, or using the provided shuttle to the local hotel. Please do not drink and drive. Highways: I-77 South or 480 East from Cleveland This venue is located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, therefore it gets dark at night and there are lots of trees and animals. Please drive safely and be alert while driving through the park. Public transportation may be lacking here, so we suggest arriving by car or Uber for your safety. Yes, please send us any dietary restrictions.

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! To keep our wedding intimate and within the space we have available, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation. Thank you so much for understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you on our big day!

Question

Are there COVID-19 or health protocols?

Answer

The health and safety of our guests is very important to us. While there are no specific vaccination or mask requirements for our wedding, we ask that everyone use their best judgment to keep the celebration safe and enjoyable for all. If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell, we kindly request that you take a test before attending. If you test positive for COVID-19, we ask that you refrain from coming to the wedding to protect the health of others. Thank you for helping us create a safe and joyous event for everyone!

Question

Are there any cultural or religious customs we should know about?

Answer

The ceremony will be a bilingual celebration, conducted in both English and Spanish. To ensure everyone can fully experience this special moment, the officiant may repeat certain parts in both languages. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to create an inclusive and meaningful experience for all, including our Spanish-speaking guests.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you join us in being fully present during our wedding ceremony by keeping your phones and cameras away. This allows us to: Create an Intimate Moment: This is one of the most special moments of our lives, and we’d love for you to experience it with us without any distractions. Let the Photographer Do Their Job: We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture these memories beautifully. Your presence and attention mean more to us than any photo. Respect the Moment: Seeing a sea of loving faces instead of phones will make this moment even more meaningful for us. We’ll be thrilled to share the professional photos with you later, and we invite you to snap away during the reception! Thank you for understanding and helping us make this ceremony truly magical.

Question

Does the wedding venue provide accommodations for guests with disabilities?

Answer

Absolutely! The venue is fully accessible and equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities. This includes wheelchair-accessible entrances, restrooms, and pathways. If you or a guest need any specific assistance, please let us know in advance so we can ensure everyone has a comfortable and enjoyable experience. We will have numerous people in our Wedding Party who are willing to translate between English and Spanish, and Casey Hoy, Bridesman, is an American Sign Language interpreter.
