What do I wear?

Answer

For our wedding, we're embracing a semi-formal "beach chic" dress code with a playful twist: we kindly invite you to incorporate blue into your outfit. Ladies can opt for a blue midi or maxi dress, while gentlemen might choose a blue button-up, blue linen pants, or a blue accessory. Feel free to select any shade of blue that makes you feel confident and comfortable.

What shoes do I wear?

Answer

Half of the night will be located in the sand, please either wear shoes you are comfortable walking in the sand in or that you don’t mind taking on and off between the sand and the deck.

Should I uber or drive to the wedding?

Answer

PLEASE uber / Lyft to our wedding, the wedding is at a beach house which the wedding party will be staying at, so much of the parking will already be occupied. We ask for you to please ride-share.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

We kindly request that this be an adults-only celebration. While we appreciate families and children, we've chosen to create an evening focused on intimate, uninterrupted moments with our closest adult friends and loved ones.

Is there a welcome party on Friday, March 20th?

Answer

No, there is not a formal welcome party on Friday. With that said, all guests are warmly invited to join us after our rehearsal at The Hangout around 6:30pm. We'll be in Gulf Shores from Thursday, March 19th to Monday, March 22nd, and we truly hope you can extend your stay to spend more quality time with us. We can't wait to create wonderful memories together during this special weekend.

Do I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

We do not have a traditional wedding registry, but we truly appreciate the thought. If you would like to give a gift, we would be grateful for a contribution to our honeymoon fund via cash or Venmo, as we are planning a trip to Thailand (and possibly Japan) this November. Please refer to the Honeymoon Fund portion of our website to find our Venmo information.

Is there an after party?

Answer

Yes, we will be taking the party to FloraBama around 10pm. If you are interested in taking the shuttle / party bus to FloraBama please have $20 cash per person or be prepared to Venmo the driver. Additionally, it is currently college spring break, so FloraBama may have a bit of a line. To avoid the lines, you can download the Line Leap App and pay your cover early with an additional cost to skip the line.

Where do we stay?

Answer

Please note, our wedding is taking place at a beach house in Gulf Shores. The address is 2456 W Beach Blvd, Gulf Shores, AL 36542, United States. You can either opt to rent an Airbnb or Vrbo with a group or stay at one of the hotels located close by (Embassy Suites, Comfort Inn, Best Western, etc.). At this time, we are not doing room blocks, so it is advised that you start your search sooner rather than later due to spring break being around this time of year for some schools.
