Covid Update

We are so excited to announce we will still be going forward with our wedding on August 22nd. Because of Covid-19, we changed our venue to the Smalling Family Farm in Kingston Springs. Because it's a little further away, we are giving you a few extra minutes to arrive. Ceremony begins at 6:30 pm, with dinner and dancing to follow. Everything will be outside, and we are doing our best to put measures in place to make guests more comfortable during this time. Please reach out with any questions. We can't wait to celebrate with you!
Question

How do I get to this new location?

Answer

Most apps are accurate for this address. - If you are on 1-40W toward Memphis, take exit 192 for McRory Lane toward Pegram. - Once you dead end at Eddie's, take a left onto US-70W. You will stay on this road for about 10 minutes. - You will pass Tip a Canoe and Foggy Bottom Canoe. Immediately turn right onto Cedar Hill Rd. - Next, some apps will try and tell you to turn left onto a road that has a Do Not Enter sign. Please wait and take the next left after that road (We will have signs at the two lefts you need to make). - Once making these lefts onto Narrows of the Harpeth Rd, you will pass a canoe drop off area. Please be patient and take the road one car at a time at this point. -You will pass Adventureworks and continue to the next driveway on your right. We will have decorations here letting you know you are in the right place. There is a bit of a long driveway leading in. Please take the drive past the white house to the bottom of the hill where there is a white ten.

Question

What are you doing to help minimize contact with Covid-19?

Answer

Most importantly, if you feel even slightly ill, please do not attend. Guests are welcome to wear masks but are not required to. The entire wedding will be outside, and guests are encouraged to spread out as much as possible. The buffet will have servers to minimize shared contact on serving utensils. Families will sit together. Hand sanitizer will be placed throughout. Guests are encouraged to only do what they are comfortable with. We are very understanding and are just excited to still be able to get married.

Question

Does Uber come to the farm?

Answer

Uber does not travel to our location. However, we would be happy to help you coordinate a carpool to minimize cars and allow you to enjoy the night. Cars will not be allowed to be left overnight. If you want a carpool, text us as soon as possible and we will help with that!

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire is expected. The ceremony will be in the grass, and the reception will be on gravel, so keep this in mind when choosing shoes. Please dress to your comfort and know that it will be a hot evening.
