This story isn’t your normal story. Most stories have an end this one is still being written everyday, but what I can do is fill you in how these two got to where they are. Jessie Carson and Joshua Brown both looking for the love they needed joined a dating app not knowing their paths would cross one another. On April 8, 2025 Jessie liked Joshua profile and a conversation was started. Within 24 hours they shared their first kiss, that was supposed to be to just a meet and greet. Meet and greets usually end with a hug, not lip locking. Both of them knew what they needed at the moment and felt right. Twelve hours later they sat in a park discussing all the things that needed to be said to make one another run… Neither did! Ten days passed by with Jessie and Josh getting to know one another. Played 20 questions nightly for few nights asking the questions that make up who we both are. April 18, 2025 both traveled to Santa Barbara for weekend get away together. That tripped ended with first I love you and couple tattoos. Another few weeks go by and on May 1, 2025 Jessie oldest needed a ride to pick up her new car in Ontario, California. After making sure she gets her new ride Jessie and Joshua grabbed some lunch (Mexican if you really want to know) then headed to Ontario Mills. The original plan was for Jessie to walk away from there with some shopping bags. While there Josh told Jessie let’s get an idea of what type of engagement ring she would like. Four jewelry stores later Jessie and Josh walked away that day with engagement ring and wedding bands. No Josh didn’t ask at this point! May 18, 2025 turned into a weekend get away in Huntington Beach with Jessie’s oldest and two youngest. Memories made and fun was had. The following weekend turned into another weekend get away with Jessie’s young’s two and Joshua’s daughter (she brought a friend) memories made and pooping off pier happen (funny story have one of them tell you). Also they added two more family members. Four legged type, Crumble and Bean. Today is June 21, 2025 Joshua and Jessie managed to blend both their hearts and families. Both working to a vision they agree on. These two often share on mind, one knowing what the other is thinking. By the way Josh still hasn’t asked but that hasn’t stopped them from planning this day June 20, 2026. Parts of this story will only make sense to them. Please return to read more as they up date their story. Ok time for the update, Josh finally asked Jessie to be his wife on July 3, 2025 on Pismo Beach. If you need to know one thing about Jessie it’s she loves the beach. She did say yes and that she was willing to spend the rest of her life with him. These past few months have flown by. We are now 184 days until the wedding. Since the first part of their story they have accomplished moving in together and started the blend of family. They have travel around California,Nevada, Oregon, Washington and one trip to Romania. It was her first time going out of the country and both their first times to Romania. Planning for this day hasn’t come without issues but the support of family and friends has made their lives a little easier.
