We were home in Green Bay for Thanksgiving. It would be Jordan's first time meeting all of my extended family (a casual dinner of nearly 50 people). I could tell he was a bit nervous and also very excited. It was the night before the holiday and Jordan insisted we go to Ned Kelly's, where it had all began for us. It was about 6:00 on that Wednesday night and the bar was nearly empty. After ordering drinks, Jordan slipped away and secretly requested for the bartender to play "Let's Get Married" by Bleachers. "Why," she asked, "are you going to propose or something?" He, in fact, was. As the song began to play, Jordan asked me to dance. We were the only ones on the dance floor and it was incredibly funny and awkward, until he got down on one knee and asked me to be his. I immediately teared up and simply nodded my head, yes, of course. He had hired a photographer, who captured all of it and then took us out for a photo shoot in the first snow of the season. The entire night was magical.
