We met on Bumble. One of the first things we talked about was hiking in Asheville. Jessie recommended a hike that was an hour and a half away from the city and didn't think Jeff would go but he did! He sent pictures of all the things Jessie liked including a Totoro stuffed toy in a shopping window before we even met in person. We finally had our first date at Ramblers in downtown Durham and then never stopped having date nights since then!

We were hiking on the Avalanche Lake Trail in Glacier National Park. At the very end of the trail, there was a small island of rocks where the water was low that we could walk on. We were the only ones there and decided to have lunch in the middle of the lake and we could chill our post-hike beers in the snow. Jessie took a big bite of an apple while admiring the views and when she turned around, Jeff was down on one knee. She said, "Yesf."
