Jessie and Jason’s journey began in the fall of 2022 at Clemson University. Both were working in the athletic department when Jason heard about the new softball coach on campus. Naturally, he had to stop by a practice to check things out. After a quick chat with Jessie that first day, Jason was intrigued—and before long, he found himself showing up at softball practice every day. He even adjusted his lifting schedule to match Jessie’s (a big deal for Jason, who is notoriously routine-driven). After a few weeks of getting to know each other, Jason finally asked Jessie out on a date. One date led to another… and the rest is history! Milestones Along the Way • September 25, 2022: First date! • Spring 2023: Jason met Jessie’s family and became a regular at Clemson softball games (he’s a big softball guy now!). • May 2023: Jason bought his first house, and Jessie moved in. • Summer 2023: Hometown visits—meeting extended family and lifelong friends. • September 2023: Jessie and Jason brought home Remy, the sweetest pup. • Spring 2024: More softball games, more support, and more memories. • Summer 2024: First big trip together—an unforgettable week in Cabo soaking up the sun. • September 25, 2024: On their two-year anniversary, Jason began his dream job as Director of Biomechanics and Research for the Cleveland Cavaliers! • September 2024 – July 2025: Navigating long distance (would not recommend, but it made them stronger!). • November 23, 2024: Jason proposed! • August 2025: Jessie and Remy made the big move to Cleveland to be with Jason, celebrated with a weeklong trip to Curaçao. • October 2025: Jessie and Jason officially move into their second new home together! Now, they can’t wait for the next chapter: saying “I do” surrounded by family and friends.
