Uber/Lyft: LAX-IT
To use a standard Uber/Lyft ride, you’ll need to walk or take the shuttle from Baggage Claim to “LAX-IT,” the special pickup area for all ride share apps. The only exception is Uber Black, which costs a little more than standard, and is allowed to pickup curbside at Arrivals. Uber/Lyft prices from LAX can be pricey when coming this far east (anywhere from $80-$200+ depending on the time of day!) and the ride can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 2+ hours depending on traffic so keep this in mind!

Our favorite way to leave LAX is the FlyAway Shuttle because of its affordability, and honestly, it can be faster and more comfortable sometimes! (Foot rests and a place to plug your phone? Yes please!) You can take advantage of the FlyAway shuttle to save a little money on Uber/Lyft ride share app services (and avoid the walk/shuttle to the LAX-IT area). The Flyaway shuttle costs $12.75 one way, and you can purchase tickets on the mobile app LAX FlyAway, (there may also still be QR codes at the bus stop that link you to a website where the pass can be purchased on a mobile browser, but the app is the easiest way to download and use your ticket.) You’ll see signs at Arrivals area directing you to the areas to wait for the shuttle, and these stops will also have a schedule listed. You can also view the schedule anytime from the FlyAway app. The shuttle runs every day, with a shuttle coming approximately every 30 minutes (stops at 1:10am and resumes at 5:40am). You can take the shuttle from LAX to Union station (make sure it’s the Union Station bus, and not the Van Nuys Bus!) Union station will be within a few miles of where you will likely be staying (Union Station to The Fig House is 5.9 miles) and then you can take a short Uber/Lyft from Union Station to your accommodations.

Burbank Airport
If flying into Burbank airport, you’re flying into a much smaller airport, as far as I know there is not a shuttle service available, but the benefit is that you are going to be much closer to the venue/where your accommodation will likely be. Uber/Lyft will tend to be more affordable than from LAX. For context, an Uber from Burbank airport to The Fig House is 13 miles, and approximately 35 minutes (depending on traffic!)
