Yes, we highly encourage renting a car for convenience, especially since some of our venues are spread out. Uber is also available, but will likely be limited. We are also exploring transportation options for the wedding day.
Our events have varying dress codes. For the welcome party, feel free to wear anything you’d like, but be mindful of the gravel road. The main ceremony and reception can be anything from cocktail attire to formal, and the Sunday brunch is at a pool, so bathing suits are encouraged!
No, all events are optional. We want you to feel comfortable and enjoy the celebration at your own pace. However, we would appreciate your RSVP by April 15th 2025 if you plan to attend, so we can best plan the food and drinks.
Mention that you are a guest of our wedding on July 12th, and you will be granted complimentary access from 8 AM. You’re welcome to come and go as you please. We are considering scheduled tours and will share those details closer to the date.
The welcome event will be hosted at Souther Williams - one of our favorite vineyards. This is a casual, drop-in event, so come as you are! There will be drinks and we’re still looking into options for food. Hoping for pizza!

Yes, there is plenty of parking at Souther Williams and the North Carolina Arboretum. Parking will be limited at Holly Rana Bosshard’s home for the Sunday brunch.
The ceremony begins at 5:00 PM, but guests are welcome to arrive as early as 8:00 AM to enjoy complimentary access to the North Carolina Arboretum. We suggest arriving by 4:30ish to ensure you have time to find a seat before the ceremony begins.
