MSP Airport

MSP International Airport is located in Bloomington, with approximately a 15-minute drive or 20-minute light rail ride to downtown Minneapolis. Pro tips: MSP airport is separated into two terminals (aptly renamed Terminal 1 & Terminal 2). Terminal 1 is where larger airlines (Delta, American, United, and international airlines) gate and where all of MSP's lounges are located. It has two security lines with an average wait of 10-15 minutes. Terminal 2 houses the lower-cost airlines (Sun Country, Southwest, Spirit, etc) and is smaller / easier to navigate, but offers few distractions while you wait to board. The best flight availability will be on Delta Airlines or Sun Country Airlines, both of which operate hubs out of MSP.

Amtrak

Union Depot (the Amtrak station) is located in downtown St. Paul, a 10-minute drive or 30-minute light rail ride to downtown Minneapolis.

Metro Transit Blue Line (Light rail train)

This is a great option for those flying into town. It will pick up right at the airport and there is a station (Nicollet Mall) about 1 block from the hotel.
