Question
Do you really expect all your guests to camp for your wedding?!
Answer
We would LOVE if everyone camped on site for the wedding! However, we understand that just isn't fun or feasible for some, so we recommend looking at Airbnbs in the area or checking out the great places to stay in Nevada City. But camping is really fun, we promise ;)
Question
If we decide to camp, will we still be able to shower? And use a toilet?
Answer
Yes and yes! The camp ground has showers (with hot water!) and toilets. We will also be renting additional restrooms, so leave your shovels at home.
Question
What's the deal with food for campers?
Answer
We will be providing coffee, tea, juices, and pastries for breakfast, and dinners will be hosted. There is also a camp kitchen on site that has refrigeration, camping stoves, and food storage. You are on your own for lunch, so you are welcome to use the kitchen or head into town.

Can I come in my RV or camper van?
Answer
Due to limited space, we request that you go with one of the tent camping options (the glamping tents are quite luxurious). If a tent just won't work but you'd like to be onsite, please contact us ASAP to talk through options.

Where exactly is this Wedding in the Woods happening?
Answer
On a beautiful private property that is a 15 minute drive from Nevada City. Nevada City sits right between Sacramento and Reno, just outside the Tahoe National Forest. Address: 10099 Ridgewood Rd, Nevada City CA 95959

What should we wear?
Answer
Think Disco meets Midsummer Nights set in California Gold Country. Themed nights are in the works, but in general wear what makes you feel your best! Color, sparkles, animal prints, tie dye, glow in the dark... Have fun and let your true colors shine :) Everything is outside in a forest, so leave your stilettos at home. We will be celebrating over the Summer Solstice! Layers will be important as it will most likely be very warm during the long days but could still cool down in the evenings. June in that part of California is usually in the high 80s with lows in the 50s at night. Check out the ATTIRE page for ideas.

We love kids and wish they could join in the fun, but we kindly request that this be an adults only celebration.
