Attire is best described as dressy casual to semi-formal. Guests are warmly invited to wear traditional Indian attire, such as sarees or kurtas, if they wish, though traditional Western attire is also absolutely welcome. Bright, festive colors are encouraged.
We are so excited to celebrate this special day with our closest family and friends. Our wedding will be a simple and intimate Hindu temple ceremony followed by a vegetarian lunch reception in the Temple Hall. The ceremony and reception will be more relaxed and informal than a traditional evening wedding reception, with a focus on family, tradition, and spending meaningful time together. Guests can expect a daytime celebration with a traditional Hindu ceremony, followed by lunch and conversation together after the ceremony. As part of temple customs, shoes may be worn into the building, but will need to be removed before entering certain sacred areas of the temple. Guests are welcome to wear socks if they would prefer. Please note that the meal served during the reception will be fully vegetarian in accordance with temple traditions and customs. We are grateful to share this meaningful celebration with you and appreciate your support in honoring these traditions with us.
