Their story begins in Clifton Park, New York. Jordan and Jessie were both living back home after college and working in the area. Mutual friends of theirs thought it would be a good idea to have Jordan and Jessie meet. After Nikki Hayner (Jessie's cousin) had expressed to Nikki Bryan that she always thought Jordan and Jessie would be good together, they both knew the connection needed to happen. When Chad and Nikki Bryan were hanging out with Jordan, they told him "Jordan, we have potentially life changing information for you. We have a girl we want to introduce you to. She is a diamond in the rough!" Jordan was intrigued and agreed to call her. So Nikki Bryan called Jessie and asked her if it would be okay if they gave Jordan her phone number. After some time of contemplating (mostly nerves), Jordan geared up the courage to call Jessie and ask her out to coffee. Later that week they met up at Uncommon Grounds Coffee shop. Jordan was absolutely stunned when he saw Jessie walk into the coffee shop. He remembers being struck by her beautiful smile, flowing brown hair and eyes at first glance. The two of them had great conversation that night until the coffee shop closed. They connected on their love to teach, coach sports and do youth ministry. Throughout the next few months, Jordan and Jessie enjoyed getting to know each other better through going out to eat, taking walks, watching movies and hanging out with each other's friends and family. In April 2018, after coming home from being away on a mission trip, Jordan mustered up the courage to profess his love to Jessie. In the following months, the two would begin their plan to get married the following year. On a sunny fall day in early November 2018, Jordan took Jessie back to one of their original date spots, Peebles Island State Park, and got down on one knee to propose to her. The two are excited to share their wedding day with friends and family in July 2019.
