If you'd like to get a head start on planning, feel free to RSVP before the formal invitations go out! Once available, just click the RSVP tab at the top of the screen to let us know if you’ll be attending the Welcome Party, Wedding, and After Party. Submitting your RSVP early helps us get an accurate headcount as we finalize details with our vendors. Please note: If we don’t receive your RSVP by the deadline, we’ll have to count you as a “No.”
Aruba is warm and sunny year-round with temps in the 80s. Pack lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and don’t forget a swimsuit!
Nope! Aruba uses the same plugs and voltage as the US and Canada, so your devices will work just fine.
Aruba uses the Florin, but USD is widely accepted. Credit cards are commonly used (try to bring one without international fees), though taxis and buses may require cash, so have some small bills on hand. American Express isn’t as widely accepted, so make sure to bring a Visa or Mastercard as a backup.
We understand that our guests will have different budgetary requirements for their stay, so we opted to not have a room block at our venue. Our wedding will be located at the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba-Beach Resort & Casino on Palm Beach. Please feel free to book here for the most convenience. The venue is also located close to a variety of hotel chains (Hyatt, Hilton, Marriot, Riu, etc), and other options for your stay (Airbnb, Vrbo). Reference the "Flights & Hotel" tab for a map of all local hotels.
It's time to leave! Anything we need to know? Yes - you will go through US Customs while in the Aruba airport, so you need more time than you typically expect. Most days, plan to arrive at the airport 3 to 3.5 hours ahead of your flight. The silver lining is that you will not be waiting to go through Customs once you arrive back in the US. You will disembark like a normal domestic flight!
