Stop by our favorite oyster shack for incredible views of the water where you'll enjoy excellent BBQ and raw oysters, shucked straight from Tomales Bay.
Hog Island Oyster Co
Highly recommend reserving a bbq here ahead of time! You can shuck your own oysters and cook them right on the bay. If you want to skip the DIY route, reserve a table. Enjoy wine, Point Reyes blue cheese, fresh oysters, and bird watch on the bay.
Saltwater Oyster Depot
Excellent bay and farm to table food in a bright and airy cafe.
Limantour Beach
Easy, beautiful and often private beach hike, where you'll get sweeping views of the coast line.
Tomales Point Trail
One of our favorite hikes. 10 mile hike round trip. If you're down to get muddy, catch a glimpse the elusive "Tule Elk" and an occasional Coyote, you'll be glad you did this memorable (and fairly challenging) hike. Half way through, there are views of both the Pacific Ocean and Tomales Bay. Have lunch at the point of the famous San Andreas fault line.
Estero Trail
Great hike that leads to sunset beach. Awesome for bird watching!
Chimney Rock Trail Head
If you are into photography, the journey to this hike is epic. You will see views of the Tomales Bay and the Pacific Ocean, and can stop by the often photographed "Cypress Tunnel" on your way out.
Blue Waters Kayaking
Take a kayak out on the Tomales Bay, where you can paddle to secluded beaches and bird watch.

Try their famous Mt. Tam and get some Point Reyes Blue Cheese.
