Our Story
Jess and Garrett’s story started in 2017, at the University of Missouri. During a spirited (and slightly tipsy) rendition of Piano Man, Jess’s dad joined the band along with guest singer, Garrett. After a standing ovation, Jess’s dad introduced his duet partner to his daughter. From there the two dated all through college, which included numerous dates to Room 38’s happy hour and working together at Harpo’s. A few years after graduation, Jess and Garrett moved in together in Chicago. They have built a life full of friends and family, including their 4-pound Pomeranian, Millie. In February of 2025, Garrett proposed to Jess. Now 8 years since they met, they welcome you to join them in celebrating a start to a new anniversary!
