Question

Do I need to wear Indian clothes to all the events if I'm not Indian?

Answer

No! Please don't feel the need to purchase anything new or specific for any of our wedding events. Dress code specifics can be found in the schedule for each event. That said, you're more than welcome to wear Indian outfits if you want to. If you don't have your own, please reach out to the groom or bride and they can check with family to see if something can be borrowed in your size. If you prefer to purchase your own, Loveleen Sari Palace on Pioneer Blvd in Artesia, CA has some good affordable options.

Can you accommodate food allergies or preferences?

Answer

We cannot, sorry! All food will be served buffet style and cannot be made to order for an individual. Thursday & Friday will be strictly vegetarian out of respect for the Hindu venue. You may bring outside food into the hall, as long as it is vegetarian. Saturday & Sunday will have both Gujarati/Jain vegetarian and American non-vegetarian options. *No outside food is allowed inside the Ontario Convention Center.* There will be no seafood or shellfish served at any of the events. If you have a severe food allergy, please let the bride or groom know and we can either make sure the caterers are notified to prevent cross-contamination, or we can let you know what to avoid when we have the final menu information.

Ontario Convention Center Policies (Saturday & Sunday)

Answer

- No outside food or beverage is allowed inside, with the exception of breast milk or baby formula. A secure and private nursing room with a mini fridge is available for nursing mothers to use on site. Simply request ask from any OCC usher and they will call the manager on duty to unlock the room for you. - No smoking or vaping is allowed indoors. - If entering through the SOUTH entrance before 5pm on Saturday, you will notice a security scan setup. To bypass this, simply continue walking around the building to the East entrance (on Kline St.) or have your rideshare drop you off at the North lot to enter through the North doors. After 5pm, the security scan will be removed.
