Mexico!?

Both Jess & Bryan love the beach and have always envisioned themselves getting married by the water. Jess being from Massachusetts, Bryan from Washington, and now Texas home to them both - travel was inevitable for friends & family.. might as well make it fun! To all of our friends & family who aren’t able to make the trip to Mexico, we fully understand your decisions and you will be missed! Check that you have a valid PASSPORT (not expiring within 6 months of your travel dates).

Is it all-inclusive?

Yes! Our wedding & room block will be at The Hyatt Ziva Cancun, which is an all-inclusive resort. All food and drinks, including alcohol, are included in the price of your room! There are cafes, bars, and several restaurants to choose from (even a candy shop!). PLEASE NOTE: you are still encouraged to tip employees at the resort (USD or Pesos)

How do I book my hotel?
Answer
Do not book directly with the hotel or you will not receive the group discount. Please see the Travel tab for information on booking your room.

When do I need to book my room by?
Answer
Please reserve your room no later than Sept 1st, 2026 to ensure accurate headcount. But, please book ASAP to reserve your room as there are a limited number of rooms in the block.

While the Hyatt Ziva is a family-friendly resort, our wedding ceremony & reception will be for adults only.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Cocktail attire. Both the wedding ceremony & reception will be held outdoors in uncovered areas (not in the sand). Please no flip flops, shorts, jeans, or Hawaiian shirts.

How do we get to / from the resort?
Answer
If you book via the link provided in the Travel tab, your transportation will be organized through our travel partner, Travel with Awestruck. Otherwise, coordinating a taxi from the airport to the hotel is your only option as there are no Ubers at the Cancun airport.
Question
Do I have to stay at the Hyatt Ziva?
Answer
No, you do not have to stay at our resort. However, it is strongly recommended for a few reasons: 1) Non-hotel guests are required to purchase a day-pass to the hotel to attend the wedding. 2) It would be your responsibility for finding organizing transportation to & from the wedding. 3) We want to have everyone together! If you would like to stay elsewhere, that's okay, please just let us know as it impacts our headcount for the wedding.
