ADULTS ONLY WEDDING: While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. We would love for you to use this evening as a date night. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us.
Yes! This is a special occasion and we ask everyone to be in cocktail or semi-formal attire. COCKTAIL: Think work-appropriate, or Sunday best. Short to mid-length dresses for women, blazers and slacks for men.(no jeans) SEMI-FORMAL: Think mid-length dresses for women and suits for men.
Unfortunately, no room blocks. Pricing for hotels were surprisingly cheaper without a block. We recommend booking asap. Bride + Groom and their families will be staying at the Marietta Hilton Conference.
The Whitlock Inn welcomes guests 30 minutes prior to the start time of the ceremony. Guests will be directed to the courtyard where the ceremony will take place. Access to the house will be limited to allow catering to finalize setup.
Parking is available at Truist Bank,directly adjacent to Whitlock Inn. Truist Bank: 47 Whitlock Ave SW, Marietta, GA 30064
Uber and other rideshare options are readily available in the area. Unfortunately, neither the Whitlock Inn, nor Truist Bank, allow for vehicles to be left overnight.
The Whitlock is ADA compliant. Access to the ceremony in the courtyard has paved paths and there is a ramp leading into the house. There is an ADA compliant restroom in the ballroom.
Our venue offers both indoor and outdoor event locations. If you have planned for an event to take place outside, and we experience inclement weather, the event will take place in the rain alternate location as determined by the host.
