5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We know that there will be a lot of people traveling on Friday so we thought we would order some local Pizza for everyone for dinner to get comfortable and welcome everyone to Marquette! No need to RSVP, just drop by when you get in if you want to, or just come grab a slice and go back to your hotel to get comfortable, or stay and chat for awhile. Or just eat the leftovers for breakfast the next day! Either way we wanted to have a relaxing way for everyone to get food after a long day.
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Semi-Casual: Come better dressed than going to a friends house for dinner, but less serious than a formal event.
You are all not only our wedding guest- but part of the wedding party! This is not a black tie/formal event so no need to go out and buy a new suit but we ask you come dressed for an outside semi casual/semi formal event that you'll be in all the pictures for! If you have something in blue tones, such as royal blue, navy, light blue or any shade of blue as it seems to be a reoccurring theme in our lives, and just a color we both enjoy. Greys, light greens, khaki and anything that will blend with the natural surroundings is a nice touch. Fun sundresses, maxi dresses, jumpsuits also encouraged. However, this is a casual event so our main concern is that everyone is comfortable and having fun! We will start to welcome guests around 130pm and start the ceremony around 215pm. This is a very untraditional ceremony and expect to be standing near or around us during this time. We expect it to only last between 15-20 minutes, and food arrives at 3pm! Come hungry!
3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
We are going to be ordering catering to be delivered to the house by local catering company MQT Nutrition. There will be a fish, chicken and steak option with plenty of sides and starters available. This should give everyone options no matter what diet (GF, DF, NF, etc). Menu will consist of: Starters: honey garlic chicken skewers, whitefish cakes, whitefish dip, caprese tortellini skewers Garden Salad with two types of dressing (DF Ranch and Balsamic Vinaigrette) Chicken, Steak Tenderloin, or Whitefish Sauces (separate): Fresh compound butter, lemon herb panic crisp, peppercorn cream sauce Sides: Baby roasted potatoes, Wild mushroom risotto, baked Mac and cheese, roasted honied carrots and parsnips Chocolate Gluten free, Dairy Free and Nut Free wedding cake from Honey Haven Baking Co for dessert!! Please inform us of any allergies we do not know about (nuts, shellfish, and soy already communicated).
8:45 am - 11:00 am
We are going to order a spread of croissants, scones, and muffins from Babycakes for everyone to come enjoy at the house. Babycakes is our favorite place to enjoy a coffee and baked good in the morning in Marquette!
