We met at a mutual friend's party in the fall of 2011 in Lexington, KY. We were introduced to each other by one of Zach's close friends. It just so happened that we would see each other a lot over the next three years at UK. Between walks to class, tailgating, Keeneland or State Street, it seemed like we saw each other two or three times a week. We would always have a great time together but we were always just friends! Nearly three years later, Zach was heading back to Louisville after graduating when he decided to reach out to Jess while she finished her senior year at UK. Fast forward to October 19th, 2014 when Zach asked Jess to be his girlfriend and it was all history from there. They're currently living in Audubon Park with their sweet pup, Buster.

Zach planned a graduation party for Jess as she finished up her masters program. After earning her diploma, Jess and Zach headed to Zach's parents' house where everyone waited to celebrate. As their close family raised their glasses of champagne, Zach got down on one knee... Jess turned to "cheers" him when she saw him kneeling there. He said something romantic and she said yes! We are so excited to open a new door to the rest of our lives together this September and we are so honored to share this moment with the people who mean the very most to us!
