When Ronnie from The Jersey Shore said

“You never fall in love at the Jersey Shore,” these two didn’t listen.

Will and Jessica first met through mutual friends in 2010 at the Sunset Motel in Seaside Heights, NJ (thanks Chris and Marty). Jessica, in her trademark black maxi dress, and Will, shirtless, hit it off right away. (She couldn’t resist the dad bod). They quickly bonded over their mutual love for the Yankees, baseball in general and the Harry Potter books. Don’t get us started about the execution of the movie version of “The Flaw in the Plan." Fate intervened when they realized that both of their grandmothers happened to be roommates in the same nursing home. Their first ACTUAL date, disputed by Jessica, was a home cooked skirt steak and salad prepared by Will in July of 2012. It was cooked perfectly rare, just how JMomma likes her steak. After months of hanging out and wayyyy too many $2 Bud Lights (RIP Afternoones) Will finally cracked and told Jessica that he loved her. She responded in the best way he could’ve possibly imagined. She said “Ok.” When she finally came around and told him she loved him too, Will couldn’t have been happier. Will and Jess decided to take life on together on November 27, 2013 (or November 26, 2013, they’re not entirely sure), and were legally married on their original wedding date of September 26, 2020 in a small elopement at Brooklyn Bridge park. After countless vacations, new cities, many beers, a few baseball stadiums, the addition of a small, adorable dog and one GLOBAL PANDEMIC LATER, the time has come, almost eight years later, for these two baseball nerds to say “I do” (again!) Finally.
