Flight
If you’re traveling in for the weekend, the closest airports to Cape May are Newark (EWR), Philadelphia (PHL), and Atlantic City (ACY). From there, Cape May is about a 1–2.5 hour drive depending on traffic, so we recommend renting a car or arranging a car service in advance. If you’re flying in, keep in mind that rideshare availability can be limited closer to Cape May, especially late at night, so planning transportation ahead of time is key. The Grand is a larger oceanfront hotel offering a “Grand Escape Weekends” package. Many other local hotels and Airbnbs may offer similar promotions as well. With so many great places to stay, it was impossible for us to choose just one!
