A year and a half after Wil initially reached out after our mutual friend thought we’d be a match, I had settled into a new job in Knoxville, TN and finally thought maybe I should see what this guy was all about. I had lived in Knoxville for about 6 months and on a random drive into work one morning this guy who had sent me a text, all that time ago, popped in my head. Looking back I know it was God's tug at my heart that morning and likely another clear reason why I was unknowingly drawn toward moving from Nashville to Knoxville. Wil likes to say I'm lucky he gave me a second chance when I had our mutual friend reach out to him to see if he was still single (which I am!). It snowed on the day we were originally supposed to go out (March 12th), so March 13th it was. I knew that day he was a great guy and felt like he was the one I’d been searching for for a long time! After dating about a year, Wil proposed on April 21, 2023 and it was the best day of my life with him and our family and friends to celebrate. I can't wait to marry him and top that day on March 15, 2024!
