Tyler was working on a house with his uncle and would come into Lincoln Square where Jessica worked. Jessica thought he was cute and had seen him a few times in the restaurant. She asked one of her co workers to get his number while she hid in the back. He messaged her that night and they hit it off since then.

They went out for the neighbors birthday in Indy. After dinner they walked down to the circle to see the lights. Everyone was taking turns talking pictures, when it was time for them Jessica was getting the kids situated for the pictures. Tyler got down on one knee and asked Jessica to marry him. She was so surprised and caught off guard she said “ Are you being serious?”. Tyler had previously told her that he wanted to wait 5 years to be engaged.
