We're Getting Married!

Their story: He was her first kiss in the fifth grade on the bus ride home from a track meet while playing spin the bottle in the back with a group of friends. Tucker was Jess's first crush long before that day so when she spun the bottle and it landed on him she couldn't believe the luck! They continued to stayed in touch, even after Jess moved to Bixby two years later. He invited her to school dances and she would come back to football games at Plainview where they would spend the entire game (and hours after) walking around the stadium laughing and sharing stories. During their high schools years they dated and even made a marriage pact, saying if they weren't married to anyone by the incredibly ancient age of 28, they would marry each other. Soon after that Tucker moved to St. John's in Wisconsin while they continued their relationship. They remained friends and in each other's lives through the college years as well. Freshman year they both attended OU and kept in touch even as Jess bounced around from Tulsa to a university in Edmond. Tucker made moves to Colorado and eventually Dallas while Jess stayed in Oklahoma City finishing school. After graduating from nursing school Jess had an opportunity to move to Dallas for a position at a hospital. She reached out to Tucker for advice on places of employment while he tried to be a neutral guide, and it didn't take long for Jess to make the move. Tucker played it too cool for a few weeks while trying to figure out what the new vicinity meant for their friendship while Jess was trying to make sense of why, after being such close friends for almost all of their lives, he was acting standoffish. It took awhile, but eventually Tucker realized he couldn't live without her and Jess realized he couldn't swing from ice cold to red hot without an explanation. Tucker had to put in some work by courting Jess and being a consistent presence. Soon the obvious hit her too and she decided she couldn't do life without him either. Fast forward to September 25th, 2023 when Tucker made the proposal of a lifetime at the beautiful Lake Como in Italy. Now they can't wait to celebrate their lifetime of ever growing love for each other with their closest friends and family in the gorgeous CABO!!
