We’re getting married!!!

We met 20 plus years ago through some mutual friends. We have dated or should i say tried dating several times. Troy has been my best friend all these years. When i needed to vent about things he always listened to me. Would give me his advice or opinion.. i was always there to listen to him when he needed someone to talk to... However, he listened to me more lol...

On october 17 i reached out to Troy. Not knowing how he would feel about me at the time I took the chance... I was scared... We talked and both agreed that we wanted to give dating another chance... Troy ended up in the hospital... i told him if he wanted to see me that bad he didnt have to end up there... We talked about how the other times didnt work we chalked it up to not the right time...

I was sitting on the couch in my living room... hair not done in my pajamas when troy sat down next to me... He said I have to talk to you... He told me he had already talked to my children. Pulled the ring box out of his pocket and said i want us to be a family... I of course said yes... I respected him even more talking to my children and talking to them about it first...

November is a very emotional and bad month for both of us. Troy losing his mom and me losing papa, gma, ladonna, mema, and a wreck that changed my life... we decided on November to give us something positive to look forward to...
