We first met as kids but reconnected years later as counselors at Camp Champions. We became friends, not knowing that God was already at work — slowly shaping our paths and preparing us for each other in His perfect timing.

 After camp, we went our separate ways for a while. When Jess moved back to Dallas, Travis reached out. What started as a simple catch-up quickly turned into something deeper. As we spent more time together, it became clear that this was more than coincidence — it was something God had been writing all along.

We’ve laughed many times at how close we always were. We grew up just minutes apart, went to rival high schools, and Travis even went to school with Jess’s older sister, Lauren. Our lives could have crossed paths in so many ways, but they didn’t — not until the timing was just right.

Now, we’re building a life together in Dallas with our sweet dog, Rita, by our side. We’re thankful every day for the way God brought us together, and we can’t wait to celebrate the next chapter with the people we love most.
