AJ (Aunt Jess) and soon to be Uncle Tom have the COOLEST niece and nephew. Mackenzie Rae will be on Petal Patrol! This little gingersnap is six (almost seven), going on sixteen and is the silliest and sassiest girl we know. As a lover of all things dogs and Halloween, she is a girl after AJ's heart - but let's be honest, Uncle Tom is WAY more fun. We know she will steal the show and frankly, that is a-okay with us! Emmett Oakley is our Ring Security for the big day. He is four (almost five) and is the sweetest kid, full of super hero energy. He is never short of kind things to say and he and AJ have had a very special bond from day 1. Thanks to Uncle Tom's dodgeball skills, Emmett approves of him too. Don't let his gentle demeanor fool you, he'll protect the rings with a vengeance.

For a guy who has more words than he sometimes knows what to do with, Tom & Jess knew that this may be the perfect role for Andrew; but that was only one of the many factors. As Jess' little brother, over five years her junior, who she used to lock in her closet and only feed him craisins-which he hated-under the crack of the door, there are few people that know Jess better. Andy has seen Jess go through many heartaches (& much like her father) never really liked the "gentlemen" she would pursue... until Tom. Andy has watched Tom & Jess grow as a couple & since day 1 (see picture), he truly embraced Tom as part of the family & as a friend. Of all of the hard wedding decisions, this one was effortless and they could not imagine anyone else being the first to announce them as husband & wife.

Let's be honest, Tom is not going to take the time to do this, so I'll do my best. First and foremost, huge shout out to Chris and Cindy for raising THREE wonderful boys and living to tell about it... with Tom as the oldest, he is lucky enough to have two amazing younger brothers, Sean and Jack. Although the three of them are so very different in many ways - one thing they have in common is they that truly just love being with one another. Whether it's romping on the OVCC golf course, eating that chicken dinner on PUBG, or just watching tv/movies on the couch, they are always laughing, having fun and causing trouble. I cannot thank Jack & Sean enough for welcoming me in as their sister and I am so glad both will be standing by our side as we start on this new adventure.

Jess and Lauren met, well, within minutes of Jess of being born. Lauren is Jessica's older sister and despite their vast differences, they have a very special friendship. With over 30 years of sisterhood, there is not much Jess and Lauren couldn't tell you about one another. Their time spent together usually involves Disney movies, venting about Andy (the baby brother) and reminiscing about the home video Barbie (Lauren) and Stacy (Jess) - Trees are good, but they're not to eat... CUT! Lauren is the most incredible mother and Jess is beyond proud of her and of the children she and her husband have raised. Jess could not WAIT to ask Lauren to be her Matron of Honor and is beyond thrilled she agreed.

Moriah & Jess have been together for the better part of a decade (including 4 years as roommates) & as a result, their relationship is much more akin to sisterhood. They talk almost as much as Jess talks to her mom & this blurb would be remiss if it didn't mention their EPIC Halloween parties. When they are not being bums, watching all things dark & twisty, you will most likely find them on an adventure (music festivals, Harry Potter land & other travels & activities just for the fun of it). They fiercely protect one another, especially when it involves the other's heart. Fortunately, while Mo knows first hand that Tom is not perfect (she lived with him & Jess for a bit too), she knows he's pretty perfect for Jess - thank goodness, because she couldn't marry anyone without Mo's approval.

Many moons before she started going by Kassandra, Jess met Kasey in 2001. They were fast friends & and now are lucky enough to have known each other longer than they haven't--20 years & counting. They have been through so much & Jess is beyond lucky to have had Kase by her side (figuratively & literally) through one of the toughest times in her adult life. When Kase & Jess are not working - yes, they also work together - they are likely by the pool, drinking wine, and/or hanging with cutest doggos ever: Buckbeak, Honey, Dolly and Bandito. Maybe it's because of their history, or maybe because they seem to be able to read each other's minds... whichever one, Kasey was not surprised when Jess asked (ok, forced) her to be a bmaid & she said yes because she knew Jess couldn't do it without her.

"You don't get a long with girls do you... we're going to be friends" Brighton & Jess had no idea what would follow those infamous words when B first came to law school; however, one thing was absolutely true. They did become friends, best friends. But their friendship is more than that. These two - though their study habits may seem to contradict it - are of the same mind. They are soul mates. They were & continue to be, each other's home. Whether they are home sick for UNC & Bobs, feeling nomadic, powerless, or just plain stuck (in a desert hotel), these two find their way to one another & somehow everything turns out okay. YOULL BE FINE. I KNOW THAT. As Jess takes this giant next step, she knew she couldn't say yes to forever with Tom without feeling at home with Birdie by her side.
