We were in New Hampshire for my (Jessica's) birthday and also celebrating my grandmother's 80th birthday. It was a big family weekend. Early on Sunday morning, my dad had a soccer game and Thad and I had planned on going all weekend. It was so early that no one else wanted to go. We had the best time watching the game and my dad scored me two goals :). On the way back home from the game my sister, Jennifer, called and asked if we wanted to meet her and my mom for a walk. We agreed and went to meet them at the walking trail. As Thad and I walked towards the area my sister said they were waiting at, he said to me, "Do you hear that?" I replied, "No, what..?" and as I turned my head I saw the rose pedals and table and heard our song playing... I immediately had the biggest smile on my face while also starting to cry. We talked towards the beautifully decorated table and just were both smiling/laughing and crying - and it was just the most special moment. He got down on one knee and the first thing I remember him saying was "You're the best mama" and I lost it haha - the rest of it came back to memory because my sister was recording it on a tripod. The last thing he said was "I know I've asked you 100 times for fake, but for real this time, Will You Marry Me?" and for the 101st time - I said YES :) We cannot wait to celebrate our love with the most special people in our lives!
