If you're taking HWY 19 back towards Atlanta, right before you turn right to cross the Chestatee River, there is a tavern that serves an amazing locally caught trout! Sit on the porch beside the river for a driving break.

A local flower farm - stop by to grab some beauties for your home! If you would like to stop by here Sunday - please let me know if you would like some various stems set out for you or if you would like a pre-made bouquet. Jennifer, the woman who runs this flower farm, will set something out for those interested.
Hike up the Arkaquah Trail for a workout, or circle around in your car to check out Brasstown Bald at 4,750'.
Take a tour (~1 hour, by appointment only - it's free to visit the farm though donations are appreciated), pet & feed alpacas in the mountains! Great for families looking for a day trip on their way in or out of town.
