Drive up Mount Greylock
We hiked up the Thunderbolt trail with my Dad and his wife Amy on Steve's first trip to MA... in December. Needless to say there was a lot of ice on the mountain and a lot of beer and ibuprofen needed afterwards. We've since driven up to the top and Steve's been much happier :D. You might recognize the tower from our save the dates... :)
Visit MASS MoCA
If you love funky art museums, definitely take a trip here. The space is awesome, the art is really interesting, and there's even a microbrewery onsite if you need a little break (which you might, since you could spend hours and hours here.)
Window shop in Great Barrington
The Berkshires is full of cute, little towns with great Main Streets and Great Barrington is one of the best. You can spend hours wandering between art galleries, local shops, and restaurants.
Try Steve's favorite chicken wings
The Forge is without question Steve's favorite place to go when we're in MA. A dozen chicken wings and he can consider the trip to visit Jessica's family a success.
