Jessica and Skylar met in the 6th grade at Sunday School where they instantly had a connection. At the Temple sleepover, Skylar told Jessica that he would marry her one day, and she told him he was crazy! They decided to be best friends from that day on. Through the good and bad, Skylar and Jessica always made it a point to remain in each other's lives. Almost every day Jessica received a good morning text message from Skylar, even when they lived across the country, or even the world, from one another. He would say things like "did you know you are so beautiful?" to brighten her day. When Jessica flew home from Indiana University, one of the very first things she would do was meet Skylar at a Starbucks nearby and spend hours talking and catching up on life. There was always something special about him. 12 years after meeting, right when the ball dropped on New Year's Eve, Skylar finally asked Jessica out on a real date, and she said yes. Four and a half years later Skylar proposed, and nine months later you will witness them say I do!
